I’m Mia Stawinski, an award-winning wildlife conservation photographer, storyteller, and mentor working across international conservation projects, editorial platforms, and global brands.
My work is rooted in deep respect for nature and a belief that stories can change how we see the world and our place within it. I’m driven by curiosity, exploration, and the idea that meaningful work comes from alignment: between what you care about, how you live, and how you create.
At its core, my work is an invitation: to fall in love with our planet again. Because when people feel connected to nature, they’re more likely to care for it, protect it, and recognize their place within it.
My approach is grounded in transparency, collaboration, and growth — creatively, personally, and professionally. I value freedom, honesty, and building a life that feels intentional rather than rushed.
Today, my focus is on impact-driven storytelling.
I’m deeply invested in wildlife conservation projects and fine art photography that explore our relationship with the natural world, including ongoing work around marine ecosystems such as seagrass conservation, and projects that highlight both the resilience and vulnerability of wild spaces.
I’m less interested in fast output or surface-level storytelling, and more drawn to work that holds depth, responsibility, and meaning over time. Work that allows space for reflection, presence, and genuine connection, for both the viewer and myself.
This direction reflects how I want to live and create: intentionally, attentively, and in service of something larger than myself.

For years, I searched for a mentor, someone who could help translate passion into a sustainable career. I struggled to find honest, hands-on guidance or people willing to share how things actually work behind the scenes.
My Mentorship exists because I don’t want others to navigate that path alone.
I guide photographers who want clarity, structure, and confidence, not just in their work, but in how they build a life around it. This isn’t about copying my path, but about helping you shape your own, in a way that aligns with your values, strengths, and ambitions.
My objective is to help bring structure, perspective, and direction, while keeping integrity and curiosity at the center.
For those who feel aligned with this way of working, I offer a mentorship focused on building meaningful, sustainable photography careers – grounded in transparency, collaboration, and long-term vision.
